A week with one lens
The plan was a gentle constraint: leave the zoom at home, only the 35mm for a week, see what happens. The theory was that I would start composing more carefully, paying for every frame with my feet instead of the focus ring.
The reality was duller and more useful. I just walked closer to things. By Wednesday I had stopped noticing the focal length at all, which is, I suppose, the actual point of the exercise.
Five rolls in, four worth keeping. Better hit rate than usual.
